PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
ECO CONSCIOUSSNESS IN FILM DEVELOPMENT
This workshop offers an introduction to formulating plant-based film and paper developers in an accessible, home-friendly approach.
The discussion of environmental and health hazards of photographic materials opens space for the will to deepen our knowledge of the fundamentals of photochemistry. Through simple associations with the plants that surround us and guidelines for further research, the participants will learn how to make plant developers on their own, how to test and adapt, interpret mistakes and experiment intentionally within their photographic practice.
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
IMAGINING ECOSYSTEMS
By approaching analogue photography as a living and imperfect process, in this workshop we create images from “photographic waste” (films that have expired decades ago or were accidentally burned) using alternative developers as a tool.
In a collective experimentation where practice and philosophy connect in conversation, e discuss the relationships between photography, the body and nature while creating images from stains made with plants and objects that do not belong to the laboratory, repurposing films that would be considered useless.
EXPANDED CINEMA WORKSHOP
WRITING POEMS, WEAVING MEMORY
This workshop guides participants through the handcrafted creation of a collective performance film thorugh the fundamental processes for storybuilding in the forms of imagery, writing and editing.
Following the rhythmic nature of time and pace in expanded cinema, we'll use, cut and collage 35mm slides from photographic found material to inspire a reflection on memory, filmic intervention and decaying images.

FILM PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN
DEVELOPING MAGIC
Developing Magic is a workshop that aims to adapt the principles of analogue photography to children's understanding by using the body, light and shadow, and sensory knowledge we can gather by observing nature.
Addressing what it means to photograph through contact with film materials, storytelling and perceiving of our surroundings, this workshop provides an experience that facilitates the understanding of analog photography and its intersections with physics and chemistry experiments.
Freely engaging with materials such as slide film, magnifying glasses, flashlights, films and paper, children become active participants and observers of the photographic process as a tactile and sensitive experience.
